The third container will be in which each one will introduce his sand so that they are mixed. It must be larger than the previous two and with a wide opening to drop both sands at the same time. If you do not use beach sand, buy two-colored crystalline quartz sand, which will allow you to clearly see how the sand looks once mixed.
If we use two types of sand of different colors, the result of the mixture will be very decorative. You can also look for a glass jar with a heart shape to mix the sands, and then seal it with wax so that it does not remove and retain the drawing that has formed when pouring it. They can engrave their names and the wedding date on the bottle. It will be a beautiful memory of one of the most important days of their lives!
The ceremony should be conducted by the officiant, who can read a few words to give more meaning to the moment. Then the bride and groom pour their respective sands into the bottle at the same time. The fine grains of sand will mix and cannot be separated any more, just as the spouses will not.
