Each couple is a world and the same can be said of a wedding. The most beautiful and most remembered weddings are weddings which reflect what each member of the couple is, their personalities, hobbies and tastes.
Wine is a symbol of abundance, joy and life. That is why wine is very close to celebrations and celebrations, by tradition and history.
The biblical texts speak of the importance of wine in festivities, as in weddings. At that time the wedding celebrations lasted ideally seven days. Wedding guests used to drink until late at night, and it was important to have enough wine for seven days. Running out of wine was the meaning of a social stigma, something that could be the subject for years. However, that was precisely what happened at a wedding that Jesus attended with his mother and his disciples.
“When they realize that there was no wine, Jesus causes the servants to fill six stone jars with water, which were arranged for the rite of purification of the Jews. The jars had a capacity between 75 and 113 liters. Once turned into wine, Jesus tells the servants “Take out a little now and present it to the banquet manager.” When the banquet manager tasted the water made wine, without knowing where it was from, he called the husband and said: “Every man serves the good wine first, and when they have drunk a lot, the lower one; however, you have reserved the good wine so far ”
The ceremony…
Each member of the couple will be represented by a wine, as a symbol of their personal life and their past. The groom will be represented by red wine and the bride by white wine or to his preference.
While the celebrant makes an appropriate reading about the life of the bride and groom, a glass of their wine will be served and they will be poured into a glass, thus making a unique taste, color and aroma, what the marriage being celebrated will be like. The groom takes the cup, takes it and gives it to the bride, then the bride takes the cup, drinks it and gives the boyfriend, as this wine is consumed, this love will be consumed in this marriage.
This is one of the most symbolic ceremonies there is and of course, the most we like to do, since it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor.
